Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bengaluru campus invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of a Project Assistant for the India Alliance Department of Biotechnology (DBT) – Wellcome Trust funded project titled “Chaperoned control of cellular homeostasis in stress and proteinopathies” at Manipal Institute of Regenerative Medicine (MIRM), Bengaluru (A unit of Manipal Academy of Higher Education – MAHE, Manipal – Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University).

Qualification: Masters Degree in any streams of Biological Sciences with a minimum of 65% marks.

Desirable: Prior work experience with molecular biology techniques (gel electrophoresis, Western blotting, Gibson cloning, restriction digestion etc), cell culture. Apart from this, work will also involve routine lab maintenance.

Duration: For 6 months. Extendable on performance/need basis.

Remuneration: As per the Department of Biotechnology, GoI norms (31,000 + HRA to scholars who have qualified NET or GATE; 25,000 + HRA to scholars who have not qualified NET or GATE).
