‘Walk-in-Interview’ for the 2024 DBT-JRF fellowship holders for the Admission in Autumn Semester 2024
The Department of Biological Sciences (DBS) at IISER Kolkata invites applications for the Ph.D. program in the Autumn semester of 2024 in Biological Sciences.
Eligibility Criteria: Bright and motivated students who have passed M.Sc. or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks in any field of Biology and/or relevant Science stream. In addition, the candidates must have valid DBT-BET qualifications (ONLY those who have cleared JRFs in the recent Exam. and results declared in May 2024).
*Applicants who already appeared in the recent interview held on 28/29 May are ineligible to appear.
**Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/DIVYANG candidates are applicable as per Government of India rules.
***Applicants are encouraged to contact their choice of faculty member for any queries regarding the interview.
****Applicants have to carry in proof of relevant documents, particularly their DBT-BET fellowship qualifications.
