Walk-in-Interview will be held on June 27, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. in the Seminar Room of Biological Sciences, Unified Academic Campus, Bose Institute, Block – EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 for one (01) position of Project Associate-II in the SERB sponsored project entitled “A proteome centric view of Prajal ubiquitin ligase in proteostasis decline and disease manifestation” under the guidance of Prof. Atin K. Mandal, Department of Biological Sciences. The project is tenable up to 01.03.2027 and the position is co-terminous with the project.

Details of qualification, monthly Emoluments, age, etc. are as follows:

Essential Qualification & Experience:

Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.

2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

Desirable Qualification: A thorough knowledge of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Candidates having hands-on experiences on cell culture, ubiquitin proteasome system, CRISPR/CAS9 system, stable cell line preparation will be given preference.

Monthly Emoluments: Rs.35,000/- p.m. plus 24

Age Limit: Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates only, as per rule).
