The Opportunity:
Officer – R&D will be responsible for research & development of ELISA and lateral flow test to ensure the addition of new products to fill the gap in portfolio for the business growth. The incumbent will be responsible for GNP-protein conjugation, Dispensing, preparation of intermediate components for development of rapid cards and ELISA.
What we’re looking for:
- Education: MSc.in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Medical laboratory technology
- Experience: 1-3 years of Research experience in IVD R&D (Field of Immunology/ELISA/Anti Body Production/Genetic Engineering/Cell Culture)
How you’ll thrive and create an impact:
Performing experiments for development of Immunodiagnostic products mainly ELISA and rapid card assay.
Performing molecular testing of clinical samples as per requirement Data organization and R&D copy update Technology transfer and process establishment. Sample panel bank preparation Inventory update and ordering
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/ON-GOING FUNCTIONS:
- Preparation and documentation as per ISO 13485 and ensuring the compliance Maintain the R&D data and technology-oriented methodologies as per the company policies.
- Keep recording the raw R&D data in proper manner.
- Handling the R&D projects for their design & development, process optimization, clinical trials, technical troubleshooting, documentation, cost analysis of new products and their quality standard.
- Technical and scientific support to R&D, production, PMT team for related projects and activities.
- Biohazard waste management of R&D as per SOP/guidelines Training to Officer and below
AUTHORITIES (if applicable):
- Authorize to prepare procedures and protocols.
- To verify the Log books of R&D.
CORE COMPETENCY:
Technical Skills
- Experience in Invitro Diagnostics field would be preferred.
- Expertise in developing in vitro Diagnostic kits such as ELISA and rapid card test.
- Scientific & Technical knowledge in diagnostic/life science business for research and development of diagnostic products. Designing & Prototyping various diagnostic products by gaining an advantage over competitors in the market. Innovative and creative thinking Strategic thinker and planner Computer skills
