INTERVIEW FOR SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (ON PROJECT)
To work on project entitled “Research and Innovation in Ayush Component of Ayurgyan”
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
Essential / Mandatory: *M.Sc. (Life Sciences) or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying exam. Candidates should be scholars who are CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualified OR selected through National level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies or institutions. (i.e. DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, IISC, ICAR, IISER etc will be preferred.)
*M.Sc. degree having a duration of one-year course will not be considered.
Selected candidates will have to join at the earliest; hence result-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Essential / Mandatory: Two years of relevant research experience is essential. Expertise in molecular biology, cell biology and animal handling is mandatory.
- Desirable / Preferable: Experience in cell culture and laboratory animal handling
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate will be
a part of the drug discovery and development activities ongoing in the department under the AYUSH scheme. Specifically, the candidate will perform experimental work, data collection and documentation involving non-clinical studies as required under the project from time to time.CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs. 40,600/- per month.
DURATION: Six Months and Extendable. The work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.
