Interview for Project JRF positions
Title of Project: Studying the ribosomal RNA (rRNA) diversity, functional relevance of rRNA processing factor 2 (RPF2) in ribosome biogenesis, root, shoot development and drought stress tolerance in rice.
No. of Positions: Two (2)
Age Limit: Below 35 years
Duration: Initially for One year and can be extended on an annual basis.
Essential Qualifications: MSc/MTech in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Genomics/Pharmacy or any other related subject and National level JRF eligibility test qualified such as NET, GATE etc. qualified.
Desirable Qualifications: Candidate should have experience in protein isolation, purification, molecular biology, biochemistry, Confocal microscopy, FISH, gene editing techniques, plant tissue culture, translation assays. A candidate with one year of research experience in a relevant area with expertise will be preferred. The candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, a team player and have good interpersonal skills.

Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA per month.
