NOTICE
Applications are invited for the following post in the ICMR funded project entitled “Defining permissible HLA mismatches in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation: Analysis of select genomic variants and their influence on graft versus host disease” under Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Translational and Regenerative Medicine, as per details given below:
Name of post: Senior Research Fellow – 1 position
Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Human Genetics/Genomics/Bioinformatics/Stem cell biology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences, with 2 years research experience. Candidates should have qualified National Eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (LS) or GATE or any other national exams conducted by central govt. department like ICMR/DST/DBT/ICAR/IIT/IISc etc. as per the ICMR norms
Desirable: Experience of analyzing human genomic (Sanger’s/NGS) data using various bioinformatic and computational biology tools, cell culture techniques, flow cytometry, real time PCR, ELISA
Upper Age limit: upto 35 years (Relaxations, if any, as per ICMR norms)
Remuneration: Rs 41,300/month i.e. (Rs 35,000/- + Rs 6,300 (18% HRA))
The engagement in the project is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. Appointment will
be initially for a period till 15-01-2025 and will be extended depending upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate. Total duration of appointment in the project could be for a maximum of up to 15-01-2026 based on projects progress. However, appointment can be terminated by either side by giving one month’s notice or one month’s fellowship thereof.Application must include:

No separate interview letter will be sent and no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
