Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences with a good academic record.

Job Description: The project involves C. elegans genetics, fluorescence imaging, behavioral assays, and molecular biology. To be considered for shortlisting, the candidate must have documented experience in handling C. elegans, setting up genetic crosses, behavioral assays, etc. The candidate must have completed a 6-month training during their Master’s degree in a research laboratory or have worked in a research laboratory after completing their Master’s degree. Hands-on experience in molecular biology and/or cell biology is preferred.

Emoluments: The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute rules, depending on qualifications and experience.
Rs. 25,000/- per month plus 24% HRA

General Terms & Conditions:

1. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or the duration of the project, whichever is shorter, at a time.
2. No hostel/housing facility will be provided.
3. Applicants should clearly mention the category they belong to (SC/ST/OBC/PH) and attach documentary proof of the same.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called.
5. Apart from sending an application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send a complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. Curriculum Vitae should contain details of experimental expertise and a list of publications.
6. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
7. The interviews will be held in offline/online mode.
