In this role, you implement programs and actions at the base of the food safety pyramid, including material, process, and product food safety specification development, GMPs (good manufacturing practices), hygiene, and sanitation.
How you will contribute:
You will work with key partners to ensure food safety requirements are accurately translated into raw material, process, and product specifications in a timely manner. You will provide basic food safety requirements advice to key stakeholders and direct detailed technical questions to the Food Safety Team experts.

Food Safety Management System/GMP Administration:
- Developing and reviewing HACCP/FSMS manual plans.
- Monthly CCP monitoring.
- Developing all SOPs as per quality Mondelez prerequisite standards.
- Identifying gaps in quality prerequisites.
- Conducting monthly audits of production lines for quality prerequisite implementation.
- Developing and maintaining QMS systems at the site.
Hygiene & Pest Control Management:
- Improving hygiene status for safe delivery.
- Conducting GMP audits and following up with action closure for non-compliance with GMP standards.
- Training employees on quality parameters, HACCP/prerequisites.
- Circulating and maintaining trackers of Mondelez QP conditions.
- Understanding and implementing Mondelez sanitation requirements in existing lines and new projects.
- Doing SDR and closing all observations of SDR.
Q&FS in Design Support for New Products, Product Development, and Capacity Expansion Projects:
- Carrying out line stabilization for new products.
- Conducting new product trials.
- Coordinating between line managers, line executives, and process control officers on process issues.
- Ensuring smooth product changeovers.
New Product Development/Transfer to Plant:
Quality:
- Complying with Mondelez Personal Hygiene Policy.
- Adhering to Mondelez Quality Policy and GMP standards at lines.
- Enforcing food safety standards.
- Establishing and implementing relevant rules and procedures.
- Having adequate food safety knowledge covering the work area.
Consumer Complaint:
- Embedded quality measurement and improvement to meet Voice of Consumer requirements.
- Analyzing and identifying the source of complaints.
- Taking corrective actions along with production and engineering.
Safety:
- Identifying hazardous areas through WPI and following up with closure.
- Minimizing risk and creating awareness of HSE.
- Building appropriate safety standards to reduce accidents.
- Providing necessary information, instructions, training, and supervision to casuals for safe operation.
Education/Certifications: B.Tech/M.Sc./M.Tech. in Food Technology
