Manager – Channel Partner
Location: Bengaluru (On-Site) | Experience: 6-8 years in sales or relevant field
About the Role
The role and responsibilities outlined for a Manager – Channel Partner need to establish relationships with customers or expertise in specific markets, allowing them to effectively promote and sell the company’s offerings. Their role is in helping the company expand its reach into new markets, increase sales without the need for significant investment in sales and marketing infrastructure, and leverage the partner’s existing customer base or industry knowledge.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify Potential Distributors: Research and identify potential distributors across various regions in India who align with the company’s target market and distribution strategy.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build strong relationships with potential distributors and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for partnership agreements.
- Draft MOUs/Contracts: Work closely with legal and management teams to draft comprehensive Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) outlining the terms, conditions, and expectations of the partnership.
- Present Partnership Opportunities: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective distributors, highlighting the benefits of partnering with the company and the value proposition offered.
- Negotiate Contracts: Lead negotiations with distributors to finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment on key terms and conditions.
- Coordinate Implementation: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure smooth implementation of partnership agreements and support distributors in launching and promoting products effectively.
- Monitor Performance: Track and monitor the performance of distribution partners against agreed-upon metrics and objectives, providing support and guidance as needed to drive mutual success.
- Provide Regular Reporting: Prepare regular reports and updates on partnership activities, performance metrics, and market trends for senior management review.
- Drive Growth: Continuously seek opportunities to expand and strengthen the company’s distribution network by identifying new partners, exploring new markets, and optimizing existing partnerships.
- Stay Informed: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities for growth.
