Trainee Microbiologist at Microbiology lab
Job Description:
- Responsible for performing microbiological analysis, media inventory, and culture maintenance.
- Conduct water sampling and test pH levels for water samples and media.
- Perform calibration of instruments/equipment and environmental monitoring.
- Maintain concurrent documentation of analysis and ensure laboratory area, documents, and records are kept up-to-date.
- Responsible for sample and media destruction according to standard operating procedures.
- Sterilize materials and media in Steam Sterilizer and report any incidents or deviations during analysis to the group leader.
- Monitor temperature, relative humidity, and differential pressure in the Microbiology lab.
- Conduct fogging and coordinate with vendors for instrument calibration and validation as per the schedule.
