Applicants are invited for the following post of JRF on a contract basis in an ICMR-funded project titled “Study of 196 GI A polymorphism in BDNF gene and association of serum level of BDNF with nutritional marker, inflammatory marker, and oxidative status with response to treatment of major depressive disorder in north Indian patients” under Dr. Sant Ram, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Basic Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Human Genetics, etc.) along with National Eligibility tests—CSIR/UGC/DST/DBT/ICMR/GATE, etc.
Desirable: At least 1-2 years of wet lab experience in handling blood and tissue samples, molecular techniques, etc.
Age limit: As per ICMR rule
