Name of the Project: ‘Mutation-aggregation Profiling of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Patients in West Bengal’ (GAP-475).
Sponsor of the Project: WBDSTBT.
Tenure: Up to 3 years.
Qualification Required: M.Sc. in any branch of Biological Sciences.
Desirable: Hands-on experience in Biochemistry.
Age Limit: 28 years.
Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- per month in the 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 30,000/- per month in the 3rd year.
Terms & Conditions:
The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, therefore, it does not confer any right or claim, implicit or explicit, for regularization or absorption against any IICB/CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of the interview. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates as per rules. Interested candidates fulfilling all the above conditions may appear for the walk-in interview to be held on 21/05/2024 from 10:30 a.m. at the CSIR-IICB Jadavpur Campus with a duly filled application form in the prescribed format as furnished under the download link, along with the following documents as applicable (original and self-attested copy):
- Matriculation certificate in support of your date of birth.
- All mark sheets and certificates regarding educational qualifications (since matriculation).
- No objection certificate from the employer if employed.
- Final mark sheet of B.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Pharm examination/Ph.D certificate.
- Documentary proof of NET/NET(LS)/GATE/Equivalent.
- One passport-size photograph.
- Caste certificate (where applicable).
