Kotak IISc AI-ML Centre Fellowship Program at IISc – Pre-doc & Post-doc Fellowships Available

The VISTA Lab at Indian Institute of Science (IISc) welcomes applications for a Pre-doctoral (offers up to 40,000 INR per month) and a Post-doctoral position (offers 100,000 INR per month, facilitated through the Kotak IISc AI-ML Centre fellowship program at IISc.

Qualification

• The Pre-doc fellowship is for recent graduates with completed Bachelor’s/Master’s degrees, possessing solid programming skills and a strong foundation in ML/AI.
• The Postdoctoral Fellowship is aimed at researchers who have recently obtained their doctoral degrees and have demonstrated expertise in AI/ML, evidenced by publications in esteemed conferences and journals.
• At VISTA Lab, we seek applicants interested in exploring deep learning-based unsupervised, semi-supervised, or self-supervised learning models for various data types including images, tabular data, and graph structures (graph analytics).

• Please also include a concise research statement (no more than 200 words) outlining your intended research during the fellowship, emphasizing both theoretical and practical aspects of AI.
• Successful Pre-doc candidates may also have the opportunity to pursue doctoral programs at IISc, subject to a separate selection process.
