Walk-in-Interview for Young Professionals-I
- ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Bengaluru, invites applications for the position of Young Professional-I purely on a contract basis for one year or may be curtailed before depending upon the performance of YP – I and fund availability. Eligible candidates may attend the Walk – in – Interview.
- The number of YP-I positions to be hired as detailed below, which can be extended or reduced depending upon the requirement.

- Educational Qualification and Experience are mentioned at Annexure – 1. A copy of the duly filled application form should be submitted at the time of the interview. Original documents of the candidates appearing interview will be verified on the date of interview.
- Age limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
- The walk – in – interview will be held on 18.04.2024 (Thursday) at 10.30 A.M. in the Committee Room, Administrative Block, ICAR-National Institute of Animal Nutrition & Physiology, Adugodi, Bangalore 560030.
- All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before i.e. 10.00 A.M. on 18.04.2024 (on the date of the interview) for completing necessary formalities.
Job Profile and Qualification etc. For hiring of Young Professional (YP-I):

Desirable Qualifications: 1. Experience: Work experience in lab animals or any other laboratory. 2. Experience in reagent preparation, biochemical estimations, molecular work, etc. 3. Proficient in MS office using computers like MS word, MS power point, MS excel, etc. 4. Proficient in communication skills using English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil or any other regional languages. |
Terms & Conditions:
- The interview for the above position will be conducted in-person only at the Scheduled date, time & venue.
- The number of positions may increase or decrease according to the need and availability of funds.
- Age limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on the date of the interview.
- Period of the contract is initially for one year. The above positions are purely contractual basis subject to satisfactory performance. The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment or absorption at ICAR at any point of time.
- No TA/DA and official accommodations will be paid/provided for appearing in the interview.
- Only the candidates having essential qualification will only be considered for the interview.
- Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. before appearing for the interview.
- Concealing of acts or canvassing in any form shall lead to cancellation of candidature or termination.
- Personnel already in employment should submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their present employer.
- The eligible candidates appearing for the interview are requested to submit their duly filled Application Form affixing a passport size photograph on the top and declaration duly signed in the application form annexed with duly self-attested all supporting documents/certificates such as (Proof of age, Category Certificate, Educational Qualifications – Marksheets & certificates from 10th class onwards, experience, etc.) at the time of the interview.
- Application should be submitted by the candidates in the prescribed Proforma only. The entire desired document should be attached in the sequence as given in the checklist and the checklist should be duly filled as per given table in the application form. Applications if not found in the proper Proforma along with desired documents as per the checklist may likely to be rejected.
- Original documents of the candidates appearing for the interview in-person will be verified on the date of the interview and if found incorrect document, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
- Selected candidate(s) will be required to produce all original documents at the time of joining for verification purpose.
- The selected candidate will be required to produce medical and character antecedent certificates at the time of joining.
- The Director, ICAR-NIANP reserves the right to cancel / postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof.
- The decision of the Director, ICAR-NIANP will be final and binding on all aspects.
- The Director, ICAR-NIANP also reserves the right to terminate the contract of the job as mentioned above, even before the completion of the contract period for which no appeal thereof shall be made.
