As a Scientific & Medical Writing Manager, you’ll ensure the medical accuracy of translations and the inclusion of mandatory information according to global guidelines. Additionally, you’ll confirm that the material complies with local codes, policies, and SOPs and is suitable for the intended target audience.
This role offers YOU the chance to lead key activities that advance YOUR career. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure adherence to governance principles while finding business solutions.
- Act as the Local Operating Company (LOC) medical signatory for promotional and non-promotional material that requires copy approval in selected markets.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Content Specialist to ensure materials align with GSK strategy and meet required standards.
- Verify the translation accuracy of all materials.
- Assist with Medical Material content monitoring and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) Tracking.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to help us achieve our goals:
- PharmD (Pharmacist degree) or PhD in life sciences
- Experience with copy approval and governance
- Experience with content involving basic sciences
- Experience with content for disease areas such as infectious disease, respiratory issues, vaccines, and preventable illnesses
Preferred Qualifications: The following qualifications would be a plus:
- Doctor of Medicine degree (MD)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated learning agility and problem-solving ability
- High level of personal accountability and integrity
