Job Purpose

As a Study Personnel – Toxicology:

• You will assist in acute, repeat dose, and reproduction toxicology studies and document study data.
• You will work in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements governing the work, such as GLP.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting studies in compliance with the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice.
• Follow the study plan and Standard Operating Procedures applicable to your involvement in the study. Any deviation from instructions should be documented and communicated directly to the Study Director or Principal Investigator(s).
• Record raw data promptly and accurately in compliance with GLP and ensure data quality.
• Exercise health precautions to minimize risk and maintain study integrity. Communicate any relevant health or medical condition to the appropriate person to be excluded from operations that may affect the study.

Educational Qualification: Degree or above in a life sciences discipline (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.V.Sc./M.V.Sc/M.Pharm).

Work Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience as study personnel.

Technical/Functional Skills

• Good understanding and hands-on experience in toxicology. Preferably knowledgeable in related disciplines such as toxicokinetics, pathology, and analytical chemistry.
• Experience working within contract research, pharmaceutical companies, or with an academic background related to toxicology is ideal.

Behavioural/Managerial Skills

• Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward internal and external customer satisfaction and maintain high standards of scientific quality and regulatory compliance.
• Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
• Maintain a meticulous approach to ensuring 100% quality in study plans, reports, and related material.
• Stay aware of study status at all times, anticipate potential issues affecting timing, quality, or integrity, and take appropriate action to resolve such issues.

Other Job Requirements

• Basic familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Adequate computer skills and the ability to learn a validated system.
• Flexibility to work extended hours beyond normal work schedules, including evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to work under specific time constraints.
