Applications are invited from eligible candidates to work as Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical), File No. EMDR/SG/11/2023-6434, under the Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India sponsored research project at Department of Biophysics, University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi-110021.
Title of project: Development of IgM Fc as an adjuvant for Th1 biased immune response: A biochemical and immune analysis, using a candidate HSV2 subunit vaccine as a model system

Monthly remuneration: The candidate will be paid a stipend of Rs. 56,000 + 27% HRA per month for the first two years and a 5% hike in salary for the third year. Selected candidate will have to join immediately.
Tenure (in years and months): The initial appointment will be for one year (purely temporary basis). The contract
will be renewable subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements. The total project duration is 3 years.Essential qualification(s):
- First class post-graduate degree including the integrated PG degree in life Sciences or related discipline OR
- Second class post-graduate degree including the integrated PG degree with PhD in Life Sciences or related discipline
Desirable qualification(s):
- Experience in Protein purification, cloning, cell culture, animal model/mouse handling etc.
- Ability to design and execute independent research studies.
- Good communication skills.
Age limit, if any: Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per ICMR, Government of India norms.

Appointment in project will be purely on a temporary basis. There is no guarantee of job in University of Delhi or admission to PhD programme in University of Delhi on the basis of appointment in the project. Temporary appointment in projects will also be not counted for experience purpose for jobs in University of Delhi.
