Applications are invited for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) position on a temporary basis funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) – Extramural Research Project (Discovery Research Division – Small Grant).
Title of the Project: Development of new arene ruthenium (II) complexes as potential DDR inhibitor targeting ATM and ATR DNA repair pathways in cervical cancer

Fellowship: Rupees 56,000/-p.m. + 18% HRA
Qualifications:
Essential: (1) First-class postgraduate degree including the integrated PG degree in Life Sciences or related discipline. (OR) (2) Second-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with Ph.D. in Life Sciences or related discipline.
Desired: A candidate with at least one year of research experience and who can handle mammalian cell culture, RT-PCR and western blotting is preferred.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 Years of age
Duration: 1 year and extension up to 3 years based on performance review

- The position is temporary which will be renewed every year subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and co-terminus with the project grant.
- No TA/DA will be given to candidates for attending the interview.
- Selected candidate with PG qualification may be permitted to apply and register for Ph.D. programme in Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
- Age, qualification, experience etc, will be reckoned as on the last date of submission of application form. Age relaxation will be applicable as per GOI rules.
