Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Project Assistant or Project Associate in the laboratory of Prof. R. MAHALAKSHMI, Professor, Dept. of Biological Sciences, IISER Bhopal.
Name of the post: Project Assistant / Project Associate
Vacancies: 2
Job responsibilities: Generating mutagenesis libraries, membrane protein preparation, yeast complementation and drop dilution assays.
Minimum Qualification:
Project Assistant: First class B. Sc. in BIOCHEMISTRY from a recognized national university. Enclose all mark sheets as proof.
Project Associate: First class M. Sc. in BIOPHYSICS from a recognized national university. Must have valid GATE/JRF qualification. Enclose all mark sheets and qualification documents as proof.
Minimum requirement for both posts: Must have at least 6-mo experience in membrane protein preparation or yeast complementation and drop dilution assays. Provide the name of project guide/current employer who can attest to your research experience.
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- p. m. (Proj. Asstt.) or Rs. 31,000/- p. m. (Proj. Assoc.). Prevailing norms of funding agency and IISER Bhopal will be followed. HRA as applicable.
Tenure: 1-2 years; extendable to 3 years with salary appraisal each
year, based on performance.Last date for application: 10-April-2024.
