Project Research Scientist I
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, invites applications for the position of Project Research Scientist I for the ICMR-funded research project titled “Optimizing antimicrobial treatment strategies for Carbapenem resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteraemia” at the Department of Critical Care and Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.
Positions: Project Research Scientist I (1 Post)
Eligibility:
- MSc (Clinical Microbiology, Molecular biology).
- Candidates must be well versed with bacteriological and molecular techniques with good clinical knowledge.
- Candidates with NET/GATE/CSIR, ICMR/other equivalent qualifications and research experience will be given preference.
Desirable:
- PhD in the above subjects or prior work experience in similar projects with good scientific writing and communication skills.

Remuneration: Rs. 56,000 pm + 9% HRA = Rs. 61,040/- pm
