RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-I POSITION
Project: ‘Functional Characterization of Novel Plasmodium falciparum Blood-Stage Genes by Genome Editing Technologies for the Identification of New Drug/Vaccine Interventions for Malaria” by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences. Proficient in molecular cloning and recombinant DNA techniques as evidenced by published papers. Experience in cell culture techniques including maintenance of culture aseptically. At least 1 first author article in peer reviewed, PubMed Indexed journal.
Desirable Qualifications: Excellent academic track record. Apicomplexan parasite research experience.
Nature and tenure of the position: The position is purely temporary in nature and will terminate with project completion.
Salary: As per the funding agency guidelines.
