Walk-in-Interview

Applications are invited for the post of SRF in ICAR funded Emeritus Scientist Project at Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12, as per details mentioned below. The post is purely on contractual basis.

Candidates are requested to attend the interview on 23rd April, 2024 from 10 AM onwards in Room No. 3, Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi-12. Kindly bring your original documents for verification at the time of interview. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.

Name of the Project: ICAR-Emeritus Scientist project on:“Identification and characterization of effector candidates associated with host specificity and virulence in Bipolaris species infecting wheat and rice”.

Emoluments: Rs.31,000/- +24% HRA for 1st & 2nd year and Rs.35,000 +24 % HRA for 3rd year

Qualification:

Essential: M.Sc/PhD in Biotechnology/Plant Molecular Biology/Plant Pathology/Life Sciences /Bioinformatics. Candidate should either have 4/5 years of bachelor degree and 2 years of Master degree or candidate who are having 3 years of bachelor degree and 2 years of Master degree should have qualified NET and 2 years of research experience as per (ICAR OM Nos.Ag. Edn.6/27/2014-HRD dated 30th July 2019, Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July 2015, OM No. Agril. Edn.6/27/2014-HRD 9th October 2015 of the Council and OMSR/S9/Z09/2018ofDST dated 30th January 2019).

Terms & Conditions:

1. Age limit: Maximum age 35years for SRF (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST& women and three years for OBC).
2. The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for up to 31- 03-2024, which may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project.
3. The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.
4. The candidates will have to compulsorily filled in application form (as per the format annexed), all the scanned certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and a recent photograph enclosed onto the scan application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be sent by email. The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificate at the time of joining.
5. No TA/DA/any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
6. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
7. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
8. The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing so as to reach by 1st April, 2024 (Annexed). If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
9. All the other candidates are also required to compulsorily submit the scanned declaration duly signed in the format annexed along with other documents in the-mail ([email protected]) by 1st April, 2024.
10. Place of posting is in Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
11. In case of any disputes, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi court only.
