Call for Project Associate-I Position (Previously termed as Junior Research Fellow)
Project Title: Biomethanation of organic municipal solid waste using industrial scale anaerobic digester in a field setting.
Project Scheme: Promotion of University Research and Scientific Excellence (PURSE).
Funding Agencies: Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
Project Location: BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
Duration: 2 Years.
Number of Positions: ONE (Project Associate-I).
Essential Qualification: ME/ MTech in Environmental Science & Engineering/ Biotechnology or MSc in Environmental Science/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification: Specialization and work experience in anaerobic digestion/ solid waste treatment. Fieldwork in solid waste management, including interacting with government officials, will be an added advantage. Candidates who have qualified CSIR/UGC-JRF.
Fellowship: Rs. 37,000/- per month in the first year. Higher fellowship will be made available in subsequent years.
Start Date: Immediately. The selected candidate should work on-site at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.
