TIGS is a program-driven research institute with a focus on solving pressing societal challenges. We are seeking applications from enthusiastic candidates to join as Research Assistant in the Crop Improvement division to work on genome editing of crop plants.

Roles and Responsibilities: The selected candidate is expected to support vector construction and molecular characterization of transgenic events. Experience in tissue culture and transformation is an added advantage.
Essential Qualifications/Requirements:
- M.Sc. in Plant Sciences, Plant Biotechnology, Genetics, and Plant Breeding, or related discipline
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant research experience.
Duration: Initially for one year.
