Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Project Research Scientist-1 (Non-Medical) on a contract basis for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project entitled ‘Effect of remote ischemic preconditioning on delayed cerebral ischemia, cardiac and functional outcomes after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (RIPSAH): a prospective randomized controlled trial’ under Dr Sangeetha RP, Associate Professor, Dept. of Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical care and Principal Investigator.

Educational Qualifications and Experience
- Masters in life sciences (Nursing/ Anaesthesia technology/ Medical lab technology/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology or related fields) with a preferable one-year working experience in clinical research at a reputed Institution.
- The applicant should be conversant in writing and speaking English, Kannada, and Hindi language.
Desirable: Candidate who has cleared NET/GATE and previously has experience working in the operation theatre
Key Responsibilities
- Assistance in conducting clinical research
- Responsible for patient recruitment, consent, follow-up assessments, collecting and maintaining study related data, data entry and analysis
- Basic hemodynamic monitoring including blood pressure measurement
- Blood sample collection, processing, storage and transport to the lab
- Other related tasks assigned by the PI/Co-PI
Age limit: 35 years
Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- PM + HRA 27%
Duration of the project: 3 years
Tenure of appointment: Initial appointment will be for 6 months; extendable upon satisfactory performance of the candidate
