About the Job
Saint-Gobain Research India is looking for a Research Engineer with the following skills and background:
- High adherence to safety policy of Saint-Gobain
- Ability to troubleshoot and take decisions independently on issues/challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microbiological and material findings into product development
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation of experimental procedures and results
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing expertise and insights to interdisciplinary projects
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn and stay updated on advancements in microbiology, chemistry, and biocide research
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders
Educational Qualification: Mtech/ MPharm – 0-2 years experience
Desired Experience:
- Good background in Interdisciplinary Material science/Chem Engg/Chemistry with Bio Pharm/Biotech/Biology background
- Background of working in a biology lab (hands-on experience is preferred)
- Ability to understand material impact for biological applications
- Strong collaboration mindset and very good communication skills
- Antimicrobial assays & ASTM standards
- Experience in conducting and analyzing chemical experiments related to biocides
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to convey complex scientific concepts effectively
