CDFD, an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following purely temporary vacancy in a research project entitled ‘Delineating the role of phosphatidylinositol 3,5-bisphosphate [PI(3,5)P2] signalling in antifungal drug susceptibility’ funded by ICMR at CDFD. The description of the position and minimum qualifications for the vacancy are as follows:
Name of the Post: Project Technical Support – III
Age Limit: 35 years
Emoluments: ₹28,000/- + 27% HRA
Essential Qualifications: Three years Graduate in Natural Sciences+three Years’ experience or PG (Postgraduate) in Natural Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in Biochemistry, Proteomics, Structural Biology or Bioinformatic analysis
Tenure: Initially six months and extendable depending on the candidate’s performance and continuation of the project.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Selection against the position will not make the candidates with Master’s Degree, eligible to register for a Ph.D. degree.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-service person/EWS applicants will be as per Govt. of India rules.
- Relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Ex-service person/Female applicants will be as per Govt. of India rules.
- Mere fulfilling the minimum qualifications will not entitle the candidate for being called for interview. The applications will be screened by a committee based on research experience and requirement of the project. Only those candidates who are found suitable will be shortlisted to be interviewed through Video Conference. The decision of the Director, CDFD will be final in this respect and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- The post is on temporary basis only. As the post is purely temporary, the selected candidate will have no claim for regular appointment at CDFD or for continuation of her/his services in any other project at CDFD.
- The conditions of employment are as per Project Recruitment guidelines issued by ICMR from time to time.
