DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY
UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA
Interested candidates are required to apply and appear before the selection committee on 05.03.2024 at 12:00 noon, in the Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata, 700 019 for recruitment of one Junior Research Fellow for the project titled “Systematic study on the fern family Pteridaceae from Darjeeling Himalaya” funded by SERB, Govt. of India, New Delhi, under Dr. Saurav Moktan (PI), Department of Botany, University of Calcutta.
Duration of project: 3 (Three) years, purely on a temporary basis.
Essential Eligibility & Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Botany with at least 60% marks from UGC recognized University. Candidates must be CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE qualified.
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to the candidate with knowledge in molecular taxonomy.
Upper age limit: 28 years
Fellowship: As per SERB rules.
