Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Science and Engineering Research Board-Startup Research Grant (SERB-SRG) funded project in Centre for Biomaterials Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) – Vellore- 632014, Tamil Nadu
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Title of the Project: “Click Chemistry Induced Cell-Laden 3D Hydrogel Integrated Orthopaedic Implants to Combat Infections and Osteointegration Failure”
Qualification:
- M.Sc., Chemistry/Biotechnology/Bioscience/Life sciences or equivalent
- M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S. in Bioengineering/Biotechnology/Nanotechnology/Material Science or equivalent
Desirable: Candidates having hands-on experience in the area of tissue engineering/biomaterials/animal experimentation will be preferred
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- + 9% HRA per month (for first two years), Rs. 35,000/- per month + 9% HRA (for the third year) for candidates with CSIR-NET/GATE. For non CSIR-NET/GATE qualified candidates, the stipend will be paid as per the Institute’s norms.
