Manager IP- Prosecution (Biotech) Job Posting
Job Summary:
Management of the branded portfolio ( Biologics) from IP perspective.
Area Of Responsibility:
- Formulating effective IP strategies to build and maintain a strong and enforceable branded portfolio
- Evaluating the strength of our IP branded portfolio and identifying opportunities for strengthening and extending its lifecycle
- Ensuring freedom-to-operate for our branded products, biosimilars, and biological products through licensing of IP
- Monitoring competition, implementing patent filing strategies, and proposing risk mitigation plans to avoid generic competition
- Providing strategic inputs for effective patent filing and prosecution
- Assessing IP due diligence for in-licensing and M&A of biological projects
- Tracking litigation and preparing litigation strategies for biosimilar projects globally
- Collaborating with R&D, Clinical, and Regulatory teams on filing and FTO strategies
Education and Job Qualification:
- MSc in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Microbiology
- PhD in Biotechnology
Specific Certification: Certification in patent law (preferred)
Skills: Strong knowledge and experience in patent drafting and prosecution
