Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post in the DBT funded project entitled “National Network Project of JNU, New Delhi” at the School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Senior Project Associate (one post):
Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology or related field. The candidate should have minimum four years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations after the completion of Master’s degree. OR Doctoral degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Computational Biology or related field from a recognized University.
Desirable qualification: Good computer skills with proven experience (published research articles in high quality/impact journals) in different applications of NGS data analysis is highly desirable.
The emoluments for the post will be as per the sanction or DBT/DST rules. The initial appointment may be for six months or as per recommendation of the Selection Committee, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on the qualification/experience depending on the
total number of applications received. JNU may select candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.How to Apply:
