Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales organization on existing products and on new products through application studies, demonstration, training, troubleshooting, scale-up, and customer presentations for the Biopharmaceutical and Pharmaceutical industry.
- Assist in the customer process and analysis, and generate application trials to help design optimized products based on customer requirements.
- Provide first product installation support and training to customers.
- Assist the Quality Department in troubleshooting and analyzing customer processes to improve investigation and resolution of quality complaints.
- Report on competitors’ products and provide feedback to the Application Specialist Team Management and product management.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Support the sales organization on existing products through product presentations, demonstrations, and application studies; support new products through beta site testing and demonstrations.
- Be responsible for the assigned product line to support sales target achievement in the defined territory.
- Provide technical support and resolve implementation problems in the field for customers.
- Support the Quality Department in troubleshooting and analyzing customer processes for better investigation and resolution of quality complaints.
- Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data on the assigned product line performance and customer feedback to identify necessary product feature changes to meet customer needs.
- Report on competitors’ products and provide feedback to the application specialist management and product management.
- Provide product training to internal sales and dealers; conduct external customer workshops and seminars.
- Conduct trials and demos to achieve intended results and create trial reports for product management and sales teams.
- Collaborate with interfaces to define trial scope and acceptance criteria and build professional trial reports.
Qualification & Skills:
- Masters in Biological engineering, Bioprocess technology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of Biotech industry experience with exposure to Downstream and single-use technologies.
- Product and application expertise.
- Ability to effectively interface with product/project/division management.
- Ability to interact at various levels (sales, technical, users).
- Familiarity with related products, laboratory processes, and equipment.
- Strong learning ability and expert knowledge base in this area.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Proven software skills, e.g., Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English and ideally in other local languages.
