Nature and Duration of Appointment: The position is purely contractual. Initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended based on availability of funding.
Project Title: A novel approach of targeting Leishmania by Liposome Encapsulated Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitors
Funding Agency: ICMR
Essential Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in any field of life science from a reputed university/college with a minimum of six months of research experience (including MSc/BSc dissertation) in Leishmania culture, mammalian cell culture, and small animal handling (mouse) is required.
Desirable Qualifications: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in any branch of Life Science or Natural Science with knowledge of molecular biology techniques.
Place of Work: Laboratory of Prof. Rupak Datta, Department of Biological Sciences, IISER Kolkata.
