ICGEB Delhi Project Position in Biotech, Life Sciences, Mol Bio, Biochem
Project position is available to work in a research project in Plant RNAi Biology Group at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. The position is temporary under the research project funded by Department of Biotechnology- M. K. BHAN Young Researcher Fellowship Grant (Govt. of India) to work on “Transcriptome mapping and evaluation of drought responsive micro RNA in roots of mungbean local landraces for improving drought tolerance”. The details of the positions are as under:
Position: Project Associate-I
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- +24% HRA with NET/GATE or Rs. 25,000/- + HRA without NET/GATE
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent in Life Science/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biology
Preferred Experience: Prior research experience in molecular biology, plant tissue culture, and plant transformation
The above position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship/emolument amount for the position is as sanctioned in the project and according to DBT norms. The initial appointment will be for 11 months or until the project’s tenure, subject to performance assessment and discretion of the Competent Authority. Termination of the appointment may be initiated with a one-month notice from either side.
