National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is one of the primary centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space. NRSC has the mandate for the establishment of ground stations for receiving satellite data, generation of data products, dissemination to the users, development of techniques for remote sensing applications including disaster management support, geospatial services for good governance, and capacity building for professionals, faculty, and students. NRSC operates through multiple campuses to meet national and regional remote sensing data and applications needs of the country.

Eligibility Criteria: M.Sc/ M.Sc (Tech) with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters) or CGPA grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale with pre-eligibility qualification of B.Sc with an aggregate minimum of 60% or CGPA grading of 6.5 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE

Nature of Job: Contribute to the sustainable management of forests through developing remote sensing and GIS applications like estimation of 3D forest structure at large scales through active sensors (microwave and LiDAR) for describing the dynamic processes in forests and for monitoring forest carbon, biodiversity, and other goods and services. They will also combine ecological insights with advanced analytics to design forest management applications

Pay Level: Level-10

of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC [₹. 56,100 – ₹. 1,77,500] Approx.

Gross Emolument: ₹. 81,906/- per month (Basic Pay + DA) Age Limit: 18-28 Years

Application Fee:

There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for each application. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹ 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) per application as Processing fee. The Processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear in the written test, as under:-

• ₹ 750/-: i.e refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC/ST/ PwBD, Ex-Servicemen).
• ₹500/-: i.e after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates.

The Application fee will be collected only through Online mode vide SBI e-Payment gateway and the link for making the payment will appear on submission of the online application. The fee can be paid using any one of the following modes:

• Internet Banking
• Unified Payment Interface (UPI)
• Debit Cards (Domestic)

Payment of Application Fee in any other form like cash remittance, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc. are not allowed (or) No other mode of payment will be accepted.

All Applicable service charges for payment of Application fee shall be borne by the Applicant

By default, the refund shall be made to the original payment method only. However, in case of any failure with the original payment method, the refund shall be made to the bank account details provided by the candidate in the application. Hence, Candidates shall enter their Bank Account details correctly for the receipt of the refund of processing fee. Please note that the refund will not be considered if a candidate fails to appear for the Written Test/ Interview.

After the registration of the application online, the candidates may download the personalized registration confirmation form which will contain the Name of Candidate, Registration No., Advertisement No. and Post Code for future reference.

How to apply:

1. Applications will be received on-line only
2. The application for on-line registration will be hosted on NRSC website from 22.01.2024 (1000 hours) to 12.02.2024 (1700 hours).
3. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID and Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application correctly and compulsorily.
4. The application has to be necessarily submitted within the due date i.e., 12.02.2024.
5. All further communications to the candidate shall be through his / her registered e-mail ID / NRSC website only. The candidates are advised to check their e-mail (including spam/ junk folders) regularly and visit NRSC website from time to time. NRSC will not be responsible for non-receipt of any intimation sent/provided as afore-said, and no representation on the matter will be entertained.

• Opening Date for On-line Registration: 22.01.2024 (1000 Hrs)
• Closing Date for On-line Registration: 12.02.2024 (1700 Hrs)

Date for determining the Eligibility of all candidates in every respect shall be the prescribed closing date for the submission of online recruitment application i.e., 12.02.2024. The applicants are advised to fill in all their particulars in the online recruitment application carefully.
