Position: NGS Analyst
Description
As an NGS Analyst, you will be responsible for managing bioinformatics analysis and report delivery for clinical samples. This includes conducting analysis for Whole Exome Sequencing, Carrier Screening, or any other sequencing data. You will follow well-defined SOPs to ensure accuracy and efficiency in your work.
Educational Requirement
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology or a relevant medical specialty is required. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in the NGS industry or research, specifically in sample analysis and data interpretation.
Professional Experience
- Experience analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing data (whole genome/exome and custom panels) with commonly used bioinformatics tools and databases preferred (e.g. ClinVar, OMIM, HGMD).
- Experience in Next-Generation Sequencing or molecular biology bench work highly preferred.
- Maintain a familiarity with Next-Generation Sequencing.
- Experience in Next-Generation sequencing data analysis.
- Expertise with basic molecular biology techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Licensing Requirement
A Preferred DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is required for this position.
