DBT Skill Vigyan Program Gujarat – Student Training Programmes With Monthly Stipend
The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has sanctioned the DBT Skill Vigyan program in biotechnology and Life Sciences, which will be executed in Gujarat through the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM) for 3 years. GSBTM is collaborating with six state academic institutions to provide student training programs.
The student training program will offer a three-month, hands-on, stipendary training experience to individuals at the entry level, including Plus 2 students, graduates, and postgraduates, specializing in various biotechnology fields. The curriculum for this program is in alignment with the Qualification Packages (QPs) established by the sector skill councils, tailored to meet industry requirements.

Eligibility Criteria: The program is open to graduates and postgraduates in biotechnology and allied subjects. Kindly refer to the table.

Selection Process: Centralized Entrance test

Duration: Three months
Attendance: The candidates are required to attend all the classes and practical sessions as per the schedule provided by the institute.
Discipline: The candidates are expected to maintain discipline and follow the rules and regulations of the institute.
