Walk-in-interview for engagement of Project Staff under different Projects to be held on 10/01/2024 from 9:00 a.m. onwards as per the details given below:
With the aim to expand and strengthen the areas of Neurobiology, Virology, Parasite Biology, Endocrinology, Human Genetics, Analytical Biochemistry, Computational Chemistry, Medicinal Process Chemistry, Statistics, IPR & HR Management, the Institute is looking for enthusiastic, talented young professionals with brilliant academic record, proven scientific achievements and zeal to conduct research as per the mandate of the Institute aligned with National Missions
Post I
Position: Project Associate I (01 Position)
Essential Qualifications: Masters Degree in Life Sciences with NET qualification
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in handling animal studies
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- + 18% HRA p.m.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Title & Tenure of the Project: “Progressing CSIR molecules for filing Investigational New Drug (IND) Application”
Tenure: Up to 31.03.2024
Post II
Position: Project Associate- II (01 Position)
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences with two-year research experience + NET qualification
Desirable Qualifications: Lab experience in Life Sciences research
Stipend: Rs. 35,000/- + 16% HRA p.m.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Title & Tenure of the Project
: “A study on the intergenerational effect of Maternal Vitamin D3 deficiency on cognition and hippocampal neurons in rats.”Tenure: Up to 12.08.2024
Post III
Position: Project Associate-II (01 Position)
Essential Qualifications: Masters Degree in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics with 2-year research experience
Desirable Qualifications: Expertise/Experience in cell culture, gene cloning, flow cytometry, Peptide Biology
Stipend: Rs. 28,000/- + 18% HRA p.m.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Title & Tenure of the Project: “Role of Nuclear mTOR: An Autonomous Modulator of Gene Expression”
Tenure: Up to 15.08.2025
Post IV
Position: Project Associate-II (01 Position)
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences + NET qualification with two years of research experience
Desirable Qualifications: Mammalian cell culture and animal handling
Stipend: Rs. 35,000/- + 18% HRA p.m.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Title & Tenure of the Project: “Therapeutics targeting of neutrophil extracellular traps nets in pulmonary fibrosis” under Mission Covid Suraksha
Tenure: Up to 15.10.2025
Timing: Eligible candidates are required to report for the Interview on 10/01/2024 at 9:00 a.m. Candidates reporting after 10:00 A.M will not be entertained. The eligible candidates may appear before the Selection Committee for interview on the date and time mentioned above at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, B.S. 10/1, Sector 10, Jankipuram Extension, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226031. Eligible candidates must bring with them a duly filled application (which can be downloaded from our website www.cdri.res.in) with original & self-attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport size photograph. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and ‘result awaited’ will not be considered.
General Conditions:
- Age relaxation will be admissible to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India/CSIR/Funding Agency Guidelines.
- Suitable Candidates may be empaneled for future requirement if any, under different projects.
- The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of interview.
- The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects. The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for consideration for regularization against any CSIR/CDRI post(s).
- The number of positions against the various projects can vary at the time of selection depending on the requirement of the institute.
- Position Code will be canceled if funds are not available in the advertised concerned project.
- The Director, CSIR-CDRI has discretion to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
- Interim queries will not be entertained.
- While coming for Walk-In-Interview, candidate(s) are advised to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
Note:- Candidates who fulfils the requisite qualification and age will be allowed to appear before the Selection Committee for interview. Written test in the subject area will be held, if required, to shortlist candidates for the interview on the same day depending upon the number of candidates. The interview may be continued for the subsequent days also, therefore outsider candidates are requested to make their own arrangements accordingly.
