Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST SERBfunded research project with following details:
Project Title: An investigation of gene-environment interaction with special reference to stress, 5-HTTLPR and epigenetic changes in the pathophysiology of depression among the patients of Sikkim

Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc. with 55% marks in Zoology/Life Science from a UGC recognized university. For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate score in masters’ degree.
- Desirable qualification: Experience in molecular biology techniques and handling human blood samples.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the position is 30 years.
Fellowship
The fellowship will
be provided as per the DST norms.Duration
The duration of the position is one year or up to the termination of the project.
