Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day lab wet work as per project schedule, including Bioconjugation, Protein Purification, Formulation, and Protein estimation by Biochemical assays.
- Follow standard practices and procedures, analyzing situations or data for readily obtainable answers.
- Ensure strict adherence to good laboratory and documentation practices throughout the design and development cycle.
- Apply analytical skills and independent judgment to develop innovative, practical, and consistent solutions to complex problems.
- Participate in study planning to align with requirements, standards, and regulatory needs, ensuring studies are conducted in agreement with approved plans.
- Responsible for following all company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
- Ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
- Report the status of experiments to the supervisor.
- Be flexible to take up new challenges and perform other related duties as required.
Education and/or Experience:
- Core expertise in protein biochemistry, including bio-conjugation chemistry.
- Exposure to chromatography techniques.
- Hands-on experience with protein purification techniques, protein estimation techniques, and characterization.
- Basic knowledge of Flow cytometry or other assay development techniques would be an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with various instruments such as pH meter, weighing balance, spectrophotometer, centrifuge, PAGE, western blot.
- Advanced degree in Biochemistry, Engineering, Protein chemistry, Life sciences, or related discipline (e.g., Master’s degree or B.Tech) with 1-2 years of experience in the field.
