Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an auditor in multiple standards (i.e. FSSC 2200, ISO 22000, Quality Management System Standard).
- Manage key accounts, schedule audit programs as per agreed timelines, and review and vet audit reports.
- Design, implement, and deliver FSMS (Food Safety Management System) programs along with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) requirements.
- Support in training other auditors during planned audits or other training functions.
- Assist in sales presentations of food services and provide technical advice to sales functions to build new business.
- Extensive travel to different parts of India and some overseas locations based on client requirements.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time, including possible weekend travel.
- Basic sampling techniques for microbiological analysis.
- Local regulatory knowledge (FSSAI).
Required Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, microbiology, or B.Tech in food technology.
- Additional certifications in Lead Auditor (must) – ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 18000.
- FSSAI (Hygiene Auditor, Fostac TOT for Catering and Manufacturing, ServSafe, CIEH, and other relevant industry certifications are a must.
Required Experience:
- At least 5 years of work experience in the food industry managing food safety, food processing, quality assurance, and implementation of FSMS and FS audits.
- Preferably 2 years of work experience in the quality assurance function or food safety management system coordination.
- Skills: Collaborative team player, customer-centric, professional communication skills, action-oriented, and driven for results.
