Advertisement for the post of “Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship”
In reference to letter No. SRICC/RJP-PDF/2023-23/4781 dated 17/11/2023 from SRICC, IoE, BHU, applications are invited for one post of “Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship” with a salary/stipend of Rs. 60,000/-pm and House Rent Allowance (HRA) of Rs. 10,000/-pm, sanctioned under Institution of Eminence (IoE) Scheme of BHU for the duration of one year. In addition, a contingency amount of Rs. 50,000/- per annum will be provided. Fellows will also have access to comprehensive benefits, including health services, library and access to other resources, as per BHU rules. The position is purely temporary and may be extended for another year based on performance and the availability of funds under IoE.
Essential qualification
The candidate should be M.Sc. in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Genetics with 55% marks along with Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Genetics from Indian Universities/Institutes with NIRF ranking of up to 20 or those who have done Ph.D. from abroad. Applicants must have original research publications (at least 2 papers in Q1
or Q2 Journals or SCOPUS/Web of Science listed Journals) essentially in support of their specialization. The upper age limit is 45 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/Female/Physically handicapped candidates). All things being equal SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.Desirable qualification
Candidates with research experience in the field of molecular biology & biophysical techniques, bacterial physiology, fluorescence microscopy, protein expressions and purification with evidence of original research publications will be preferred.
