We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Project-JRF (Junior Research Fellow) at Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) in Faridabad. RCB is a premier research institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Our mission is to foster innovative, interdisciplinary research in biotechnology and provide training and education in this field.
Title of Project: Nanocarriers for topical delivery of pathogen-specific RNAi molecules for sustained protection of pea crop against powdery mildew.
Duration: One year
Age Limit: Should be below 32 years on the date of the application
Essential Qualifications
- M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with NET qualification
- Minimum 60% marks in qualifying exams
- Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction and gene expression analysis in plant systems
- A strong commitment to research
Desirable Qualifications: Practical experience in gene cloning, transient expression assays in plants, and confocal microscopy is desirable.

Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- + 24% HRA per month
