Job Posting: Research Associate I – Invitro Biology at Jubilant Biosys

Jubilant Biosys is a leading global contract research organization providing innovative drug discovery and development services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. We are currently seeking a Research Associate I to join our Discovery Biology Department.

Role: Research Associate I – Invitro Biology

Experience: 2 – 6 years

Qualification: MSc (Biotechnology)

Responsibilities:

• Cell based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening) under the guidance of Group leaders.
• Enzyme based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening).
• Invitro assay development, validation, and optimization of cell-based and enzyme-based assays for various therapeutic areas (CNS, Metabolic disorder, Autoimmune/Inflammatory diseases, Pain, Oncology) in the field of Drug Discovery.
• Working extensively with functional cell-based assays and validating them to determine the activity of new chemical entities (NCEs).
• Writing protocols, uploading data, maintaining lab notebook records, and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Analyzing experimental data using statistical analysis software, Graph pad PRISM, for IC50 and graphical representations.
• Designing experiments, executing them, performing calculations, analyzing data, and reporting results to project teams.
• Following lab safety guidelines and assisting the lab head in developing new guidelines.
• Ensuring ethical guidelines are followed for assay validation, data analysis, and maintenance.
• Working collaboratively in a team environment to deliver results efficiently.
• Displaying a willingness to learn new skills in the respective research area.
