Job Description
IQVIA is seeking an Associate Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting high impact projects related to oncology markets across competitive intelligence (CI) and consulting projects. Your main responsibilities will include conducting research, performing analysis, and providing expertise in both scientific and commercial aspects of oncology markets.
Principal Accountabilities
- Utilize subject matter knowledge for oncology CI, consulting, and commercial projects
- Contribute to project execution through rigorous secondary market research, including pipeline research, treatment landscapes, trial analysis, company analysis, product profiles, and news tracking
- Expertise in working with databases like Trial Trove, Pharma Projects, Cortellis, Trial Registries, Capital IQ, Pharmatell, and AlphaSense
- Generate insights and provide critical perspectives for deliverables
- Independently undertake execution tasks and develop initial report drafts for review
- Monitor key interests in indications/target areas and develop client-ready summaries
- Engage and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth task execution within defined timelines
Minimum Educational Skills and Experience Required
- Graduation in MBBS/MD/BDS/Pharma/Biotechnology or advanced degree in oncology/life sciences (PhD)
- 2-4 years of experience for advanced life sciences professionals
- 1+ years of experience in executing Oncology consulting projects
- Sharp analytical thinking and good data visualization approach
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English) with the ability to articulate messages clearly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
