Job Description
As a Research Associate at Syngene Life Sciences, you will be involved in GLP in vivo toxicology studies, including acute, repeat dose, and reproduction studies. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Study Director, animal handling and care, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the laboratory as per internal SOP. Your role will contribute to the overall success of the toxicology studies conducted at Syngene.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Study Director in conducting studies
- Handle and administer doses to animals
- Maintain the highest regulatory standards (GLP and AAALAC recommendations)
- Assist in preventive maintenance of instruments
- Prepare experiment conduct protocols for the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee
- Verify data generated during studies
- Assist in the preparation of study plans
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience
- Good understanding and hands-on experience of toxicology
- Knowledge of GLP and animal handling
- Experience in a contract research organization is preferred
- Master’s degree in a life sciences discipline (MVSc /M. Pharm/ M.Sc.)
