We are conducting a DBT, GOI sponsored project entitled “National Network Project, Department of Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai.” We invite applications from eligible candidates to join us as a Project Associate. Applications are invited from eligible candidates as Project Associate as per CSRC (CTDT), Anna University norms in DBT, GOI sponsored project entitled “National Network Project, Department of Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai” under the supervision of Dr.B.S.Lakshmi, Professor, Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai-25 for a period of one year, extendable based on performance till the end of the project.

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Computational Biology / Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Natural or Agricultural sciences/MVSc/Biopharmaceutical Technology and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine from a recognized University / Institute
Desirable experience: in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Computer-Aided
Drug Discovery research
Upper age limit (years): 35
Monthly Emoluments:
(Rs.) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through:
- (a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE
- (b) A Selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting research activities in line with the objectives of the National Network Project
- Collecting and analyzing data, ensuring accuracy and reliability
- Collaborating with team members to achieve project milestones
- Preparing reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research findings
- In addition, they may be assigned any suitable task by the PI of the Project
Desirable experience
Experience in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Computer Aided Drug Discovery research
