Sr CI Analyst/ CI Lead – Chennai
Roche, a leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, has established the Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) in India to drive analytics and technology-driven solutions. As a Sr CI Analyst/ CI Lead, you will play a key role in conducting competitive intelligence research and providing insightful analysis to support Roche’s global affiliates. Job Description
- Be the subject matter expert on healthcare industry trends, competitive intelligence, and secondary research
- Mine internal and external databases to identify trends, opportunities, and threats for the business
- Gather insights from public and proprietary databases to develop strategies
- Attend global conferences to stay updated on new molecules and clinical trials
- Track competitors’ performance, focus areas, and market shifts
- Monitor social media platforms for stakeholder opinions on healthcare-related topics
- Analyze healthcare datasets and generate qualitative/quantitative reports
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and structured manner
- Work independently to add value in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in competitive intelligence in the pharma, healthcare, or biotechnology domain
- Proficiency in SQL, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint is mandatory
- Experience with gSuite, Tableau, or PowerBI tools is desirable
- Strong understanding of the drug development process
- Knowledge of data sources such as clinicaltrials.gov, PubMed, DRG, MIDAS, etc. is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with stakeholders independently and handle structured and unstructured requests
- Self-starter with an innovative mindset and passion for solving complex problems
- Motivated, learning-oriented, and quality-focused individuals preferred
Education
B. Sc. / B. Tech/ B.E. – Biotechnology/ Pharma/ Healthcare/ Life sciences
Masters in Sc. OR MBA or Certification in the area of analytics (good to have)
