Advertisement for recruitment of scientific personnel under a DBT-sponsored project.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions under the DBT-funded research project on glioblastoma immunotherapy at Siddaganga Institute of
Technology, Tumakuru in collaboration with NIMHANS, Bangalore. Duration is 3 years.
Position I
Name of the Post: Research Associate
Max age: 40
Essential Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical / Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Oncology, Molecular / Cell Biology.
At least two publications (Original research articles as first author) in reputed Journals.
Desirable Credentials:
- Experience in cell engineering, genetic engineering, and mammalian cell culture.
- Working experience with 3D bioprinting, tumour spheroids, and drug delivery.
- Knowledge in cancer biology/immunology/stem cell biology/nano-biotechnology.
Remuneration: Rs. 50,760 per month (Rs. 47,000 + 8% HRA)
Position II
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
Max age: 30
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc or M.S. in Molecular Biology / Cell Biology / Biotechnology, Biochemistry with min of 60 % marks (or) M.E. / M.Tech / M.S. in Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering with min of 60% marks (or) B.E. / B.Tech in Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering with min of 60 % marks and an additional 2 years of research experience.
- Should have qualified National Level exam including BET / NET / GATE or equivalent conducted by central government agencies (DST, DBT, ICMR, UGC, CSIR, etc).
At least two publications (Original research articles as first author) in reputed Journals.
Desirable Credentials:
- Experience in molecular/cell biology, mammalian cell culture, and biomedical research.
- Knowledge in cancer biology/immunology/stem cell biology/nano-biotechnology.
Remuneration:
- Rs. 33,480 per month for 2 years (Rs.31,000 + 8% HRA) and
- Rs. 37,800 per month for 1 year (Rs. 35,000 + 8% HRA)
Position III
Name of the Post: Project Manager
Max age: 40
Essential Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Science or Engineering with a minimum of 60 % marks (or) Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or Pharmacy with a minimum of 60% marks and 2 years of industry experience or an MBA
Desirable Credentials: Experience in project management, managing
resources of a research project.
Remuneration: Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated)
